- This show included the live debuts of A Love Bizarre, Mutiny, Sometimes It Snows In April, Drawers Burnin’ (only known performance) and Holly Rock.
- An estimated $20,000 was spent on the party to create a carnival atmosphere with decorations and props such as two big brass beds, glittery booths, candles, squiggly mirrors, mannequins, and pinball machines. Around 200 guests were flown in, among them actor Paul Reubens (in character as Pee-Wee Herman). Security was unusually tight and the press wasn’t allowed inside.
