Trivia
- This show was initially scheduled to take place on 20 January 1985, following a show at the same venue on the 19th, but was rescheduled for this matinee performance 14 days later, when the announcement of the show was initially halted, with tickets sales for the 19 January, Birmingham show failing to sell out immediately. Following rave reviews and demand for tickets after the successful and eventually sold out first performance, tickets for this show went on sale on 25 January 1985. On 20 January Prince worked on Sheila E.’s album instead.
- Due to technical malfunction the first three quarters of the opening Let’s Go Crazy were played behind closed curtains. The squirting guitar during the encore also failed to produce more liquid than a little dribble.
