 * The lines We are young. We’re not old, and we are funky... quoted in Baby I’m A Star are often referred to as the lyrics from Ice Cream Castles. However, although similar to the lyrics sung, they are not actually from that song. They do appear in a late 1983 rehearsal jam usually referred to as “White Girls” rehearsal, and are likely direct lyrics from the Jesse Johnson song Old And Ignant that Ice Cream Castles was based on

Trivia

  • This show was a matinée performance with a planned start time of 4:00 p.m.
  • The six Daly City shows were announced on 23 January 1985. Tickets for all six shows went on sale on 27 January 1985 and were all sold out within a day. 2,000 additional behind-the-stage seats that previously were unusable because of obscured view were made available for each show on 15 February 1985 after a change in the production plan. The 12,000 extra tickets also sold out quickly.
