- This show marked the debut of the new band line-up, including John Blackwell’s first appearance as Prince’s full-time drummer, Rhonda Smith returning as the primary bass player, and Najee playing saxophone, clarinet, and flute. Morris Hayes and Kip Blackshire stayed on, playing keyboards, with Kip Blackshire also providing vocals. Band rehearsals began on 3 September, 2000, and also included Geneva as dancer; she would make her live debut with the band at the following show, however.
- A film camera was set up in front of the stage throughout the show; perhaps for Prince and the band’s internal review following the show.
- Following the show, the audience was filmed dancing to two Prince songs for use in promo videos; one of which was believed to be Supercute. The filming session ended around 5 am.
