3 x 2 = 6 is the eighth and final track on Vanity 6's first and only album Vanity 6, and, in Fall 1982, it was included as the b-side of Bite The Beat, the album's second single. In 1983, it was also included as the b-side of Drive Me Wild, the album's fourth and final single.

Basic tracking took place on 5 April 1982 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California (two days after Extraloveable and the day before If It'll Make U Happy).
