Celine Dion is the seventeenth studio album (second English-language album) by Canadian singer Celine Dion, and was released in March 1992.

The album contained With This Tear, a track written by Prince. The song has no musical input from Prince, as Celine Dion re-recorded his version with her own band.

The album produced six singles, Beauty and the Beast, If You Asked Me To, Nothing Broken But My Heart, Love Can Move Mountains, Water From The Moon and Did You Give Enough Love. It only reached number 34 on the US Billboard Pop Chart, but reached number 3 on her native Canadian Albums Chart, and the album sold over 5 million copies worldwide, selling steadily over time. The album also won numerous awards (see here for details).

The tracklist of the LP and CD are slightly rearranged (likely due to space limitations on the LP). With This Tear is the 13th track (twelfth song) on the CD, but the eighth track (seventh song) on the LP.

While specific recording dates for With This Tear are not known, initial tracking took place in January 1992 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA. The song was initially intended for Jevetta Steele, but it is not known if she recorded a version of the track. It was submitted to Celine Dion soon afterwards, and she recorded her own version at some point between January and early March 1992, produced by Walter Afanasieff.
