Little is known about the content of a live album Prince worked on in 1993, other than it contained live tracks recorded during the Act I Tour in the United States. This project was not known until a planned artwork was included posthumously in a 2023 auction from RRAuction.com.

According to Jill Willis: "Prince was planning to release a live CD—or several versions of the same CD—from shows in New York, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, etc. I don't recall a lot about the project as there were always ideas that were being developed, considered and worked on in various stages. Especially when it came to releasing music."

The album is unrelated to the “Live” single planned for release the following year, the 1995 “Live” album and The Live Experience album planned for release later in 1995, all of which were planned to be credited to SymbolSmallerBlue.png and contained live tracks recorded in 1994 and 1995 consecutively.

Interestingly, in 2001, live versions of Damn U, The Max and Johnny (all taken from the concert Prince and the New Power Generation gave on 25 March 1993, Radio City Music Hall, New York, NY, USA) were included on the NPG Ahdio # 4. Live versions of Let’s Go Crazy, Kiss, Irresistible Bitch, She’s Always In My Hair, When You Were Mine, Insatiable and Scandalous (from the 26 March 1993, Radio City Music Hall, New York, NY, USA show) were included on the NPG Ahdio # 9. The previous year, a live performance of Gett Off from the 15 April 1993 performance at the Universal Amphitheatre, Universal City, CA, USA was made available for download on NPGOnlineLtd.com. It is not known however if these performances were the ones planned for the unreleased live project.
