Alice Through The Looking Glass is slated for release as one of the songs on the Diamonds And Pearls Super Deluxe in 2023. At least two mixes of the song exist, and the more recent one was chosen for inclusion on Diamonds And Pearls Super Deluxe and the single. The track was streamed on Prince’s Youtube channel and other streaming platforms on 24 August 2023, the day the set’s release was officially announced as a preview of this posthumous release. An announcement of the release stated:“Prince used synth drums, percussion, a Proteus bass, guitar, and a series of loops to create the song.”
