Crazy In Love

  • First appeared on: Beyoncé: Dangerously in Love (2003). Also released as a single in 2003 (by Beyoncé featuring Jay-Z).
  • Of note: The hook line of Crazy In Love is in fact taken from The Chi-Lites' 1970 song Are You My Woman (Tell Me So) . It could be argued Prince quotes that song, but as he often remarks it is ' for the youngsters' (whom as suggested are not familiar with the 'older' songs). Prince also says he wants to do 'that dance, but I ain't go no booty,' an obvious reference to the dance Beyoncé does in the video of Crazy In Love.
  • Composed by: Beyoncé Knowles, Rich Harrison, Shawn Carter, Eugene Record
