C’est La Vie (meaning That’s life in french) is an unreleased song by Paisley Park Records artist Tony LeMans. Prince worked on the song on 9 November 1986 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California by adding overdubs. C’est La Vie was possibly intended for Tony LeMans’ eponymous album, but ultimately not included when released in 1989 (almost three years later).

Prince also offered the song Fuchsia Light for the album in 1988, but it is believed that he withdrew altogether from the project when he discoveved that Tony LeMans had had an affair with Ingrid Chavez.

Tony LeMans’ eponymous album released in 1989 was his first and ultimately only album as he died in a motorcycle accident before he finished recording his second album in 1992, which was also due to be released on Paisley Park Records. Both tracks remain unreleased.
