Drawers Burnin' is an unreleased song performed live on 7 June 1985, Prom Center, St. Paul, MN, USA (a one-off concert to celebrate Prince's 27th birthday), performed as part of a lengthy medley which also included Irresistible Bitch, Possessed, The Bird and Holly Rock. It is believed that no studio version exists, although the track was worked on during rehearsals for the show, and background vocals repeated the song's title before Prince's lead vocals began, indicating that it was not improvised. The track is not known to have been performed live at any other time. The track's lyrics include criticisms of the side effects of fame, including people trying to take Prince's picture (seemingly opposing the lyric of Baby I'm A Star, although fitting with Prince's later complaints of paparazzi, on tracks such as Just Like U (Monologue)).
