The basis for the track was recorded live during a show by [[NPG Q]] on [[10_August_2014-am|10 August 2014 (a.m.)]] at [[Venue: Paisley Park Studios| Paisley Park Studios]] ('NPGMC Room') in Chanhassen, Minnesota. [[Prince]] added his guitar parts later in August. The song was played live by [[NPG Q]] during the release-party for the [[Album:_Art_Official_Age|Art Official Age]] and [[Album:_Plectrumelectrum|Plectrumelectrum]] albums at [[Venue: Paisley Park Studios| Paisley Park Studios]] on [[30 September 2014|30 September 2014]].

[[EBlues]] was intended for an [[Album: NPG Q|album]] by [[NPG Q]]. The project was abandoned when [[John Blackwell]] left to tour with [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D’Angelo D’Angelo] in October 2014. The track remains unreleased.
