Electric Chair is the second track on Prince’s eleventh album Batman (the motion picture soundtrack to the Tim Burton movie Batman). Eleven months after the album’s release, a remix of the track by William Orbit and Mark Moore was included as the b-side of The Future, the album’s fifth and final commercially-released single (available in Europe only).

The vocals on the album are credited to a character from the movie, as if Prince is singing on their behalf. Electric Chair, like Partyman and Trust, is attributed to The Joker.
