Eye.png’ll Never B Another Fool (originally titled I’ll Never Open My Legs Again) is the eighth track (seventh song) on Chaka Khan’s tenth solo studio album Come 2 My House.

The track was written by Prince (as SymbolSmallerBlue.png), Sandra St. Victor, Chaka Khan, Tom Hammer (uncredited) and Vernon Reid (uncredited), and produced by Chaka Khan and Prince (as SymbolSmallerBlue.png)

While specific recording dates are not known, the track was originally written by Sandra St. Victor, Tom Hammer and Vernon Reid as I’ll Never Open My Legs Again, and was sent to Prince in Spring 1995, following a loose agreement for Prince and Sandra St. Victor to work together (along with Love Is (later renamed Van Gogh), Sanctuary (later renamed Soul Sanctuary), How We Livin’ (later renamed Livin’ 2 Die) and Nothing Left To Give (later renamed Stone). I’ll Never Open My Legs Again, Love Is, Sanctuary and Nothing Left To Give came from Sanctuary, Sandra St. Victor’s canceled first solo album on Elektra Records (intended to be released in 1993). SymbolSmallerBlue.png was able to listen to this record however and liked it enough to contact Sandra St. Victor for a collaboration. Her original version of Eye’ll Never B Another Fool was released in 2018 (with its initial title I’ll Never Open My Legs Again), when Sanctuary was made available on digital plateforms. Since I’ll Never Open My Legs Again was not initially intended for SymbolSmallerBlue.png and contains no input by him, this version is not listed below.

Additional lyrics and music were added by Prince before recording in Spring 1995, at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota (during the same set of sessions as the other songs sent by St. Victor). The additional music was created around a sample of Michael B. and Sonny T.’s track "Vinyl Blister" (from their sample cd Funky-ass Loops). The song (renamed I’ll Never B Another Fool as Prince thought the initial title was too blunt) was then placed on a mid-1995 Playtime By Versace project that remains unreleased.

Basic tracking for Chaka Khan’s version (as EyeBlue.png’ll Never B Another Fool) took place in late 1997 or early 1998 at Paisley Park Studios.

It was included as the fifth track on a February 1998, configuration of Come 2 My House, before the tracklist was revised for the final release. Tom Hammer and Vernon Reid were left off the writers’ credits; other tracks by St. Victor were also released with inaccurate credits, causing her to make legal threats against Prince, but she eventually opted not to sue.

On 22 June 2013, a 2:49 unreleased version of Eye’ll Never B Another Fool was streamed on 3rdEye TV broadcast #3, containing unidentified female lead vocals.
