Fly Away was the eighth track of Lenny Kravitz’s 1998 album 5 and became its fourth single the same year (Kravitz won the Best Male Rock Vocal Performance award at the 41st Annual Grammy Awards in 1999 with this song).

This track is not believed to have been recorded in the studio by Prince although he quoted some of its lyrics in the remix of Man‘O’War (on Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic).
