Segue # 1
| ||||||||||
Segue [# 1] is the sixth track on Graham Central Station's eighth studio album GCS 2000. It is a skit in which a teenage girl is watching music videos on TV (playing an unidentified song played by Larry Graham or Graham Central Station). Her friends suggest they go to a party, but the girl thinks it will be too rowdy and decides to stay home and "study". Her friends take this to mean she is going to do homework, but she says there are other things to study besides schoolwork (suggesting, perhaps, studying scriptures).

Segue # 2

Segue [# 2] is the eighth track on Graham Central Station's eighth studio album GCS 2000. It is a skit in which the teenage girl receives a voicemail message from her friends at the party; most notably a drunk boy (played by Kirk Johnson) urging her to come join them. Clearly her friends are drunk, leading her to conclude she is glad she didn't let them change her mind. Notably, the music played in the background at the party is Freaks On This Side.
