I Pledge Allegiance To Your Love is an unreleased track recorded during sessions for the  album, most likely at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, Minnesota between September 1991 and early 1992. The track was at one point considered for the album but was not included on a known configuration.
It was long thought that I Pledge Allegiance To Your Love and Allegiance were alternative titles for the same song, but they are entirely different tracks. Allegiance, also recorded during sessions for the album, was given to Howard Hewett and released on his fourth solo studio album (also titled Allegiance). I Pledge Allegiance To Your Love remains unreleased.
The track is slated for release as one of the songs on the Diamonds And Pearls Super Deluxe in 2023.
