Just A Little Lovin’ (originally titled Tasty) is the tenth track (ninth song) on Carmen Electra’s only album Carmen Electra. The track was written by Prince and Tony M., and produced by Prince (although no producer credit was given, other than Paisley Park as executive producer).

While specific recording dates are not known, basic tracking (as Tasty) took place between Spring 1991 and early 1992 (at one of Record Plant in Hollywood, California, Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California or Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota). It was included as the tenth track on a 15 June 1992 configuration of Carmen Electra’s debut album, then titled On Top (with the artist credit "Carmen"). The released version opens with a sample from Make It Funky by James Brown (released as a single in 1971).

  • The line "Just a Little Lovin’, early in the morning" is taken from and sung with the same melody as the 1968 song “Just A Little Lovin’”, written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, originally released by Dusty Springfield in 1969 and covered by Carmen McRae in 1970.
