Overview & History
The 3121 Antelo Rd. Home Studio was the studio in the house that Prince rented in Los Angeles with the actual address of 3121 Antelo Road, Los Angeles, California 90077. Prince rented the house from October 2004 until September 2005 and held many parties here and possibly also recorded part of the 3121 album at this house, although not its title track, which was recorded in Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota around the time he started renting the house.
Trivia
- The song 3121 and album 3121 were inspired by the street address of the house on 3121 Antelo Road. In 2006 Prince would rent a house on 1235 Sierra Alta Way, but kept the 3121 residence number theme throughout the house as if it was the actual number of that address too.
