- 1996 – Prince attends a meeting with Warner Bros. executives in Los Angeles, where a termination agreement had been worked out for Prince to deliver two more albums to close his contract, instead of the three that he owed them. He presented Chaos And Disorder and The Vault... Old Friends 4 Sale at the meeting, complete with the artwork design. The record company had no influence whatsoever over the contents of either album.
