My Baby Knows (often titled My Baby Knows How To Love Me) is an unreleased song recorded in Summer, 1982 at Prince’s Kiowa Trail Home Studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota (along with several other tracks that would re-appear over the next several years).

In Summer, 1985, Prince worked on the track further with Jill Jones, who added lead vocal overdubs at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California. Soon after, Prince sent the song to Clare Fischer to add orchestration, which was added in August 1985, at Monterey Sound Studios in Glendale, California, but the song was ultimately not included on Jill Jones' album Jill Jones.

In Summer 1989, Prince pulled out the track at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota, for use on the proposed second album by Jill Jones (along with Boom, Boom (Can’t U Feel The Beat Of My Heart), from the same sessions, and Flesh And Blood and possibly Am I Without U?). Candy Dulfer added saxophone overdubs in late July or August 1989, also at Paisley Park Studios (during the same set of sessions where she added saxophone overdubs to Love Machine, My Summertime Thang, Release It, Murph Drag, The Latest Fashion, Donald Trump (Black Version), and Data Bank).

The album was not completed, however, as Prince and Jill Jones disagreed on the direction of the album, with Jill Jones wanting to sing more mature songs than Prince was providing. The song remains unreleased.
