My Pony is an unreleased track recorded by Prince and George Clinton in March, 1990, at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA (around the same time as The Big Pump). Horn overdubs by Eric Leeds, Atlanta Bliss, [[[Maceo Parker]] and Fred Wesley were recorded on 26 January, 1991, also at Paisley Park Studios.
Maceo Parker and Fred Wesley were likely brought in by George Clinton, who had worked with them previously.
It also marks Fred Wesley's only known appearance on a Prince recording, although Prince has covered some tracks co-written by Wesley in live shows. The track was intended for George Clinton's next album, which became Hey Man... Smell My Finger, but was not included on any known configuration of the album, and remains unreleased.
