Rootie Kazootie is the second track on the aborted third Madhouse album, 24. The track was named after the principal character on the 1950s children's television show The Rootie Kazootie Club. Basic tracking took place on 7 July 1993 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota (during a five-hour session that also produced Carnac (later renamed 17), Edward (later renamed Asswoop or Asswhuppin' In A Trunk), (Got 2) Give It Up, Parlor Games and a mostly-instrumental version of Space, all of which were intended for a third Madhouse album, 24). The album, and Rootie Kazootie, remain unreleased.
