Silver Tongue (Demo) was released on 13 July 2004, as a "virtual b-side" to Call My Name. No other version has been released. The song's lyrics were written by Nikka Costa, and it was discussed that her own (final) version would be included on her next album. It is unknown whether Nikka Costa recorded her own studio version, or whether it was ever placed on a configuration of her 2005 album can'tneverdidnothin'.

Initial recording dates are unknown, but it is likely that the track was recorded in early 2004 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA.
