In A Word Or 2 was the third single to be released from Monie Love’s album In A Word Or 2, and was released worldwide two and a half months after the album.
The single contained remixes of the track In A Word Or 2, co-written, produced and largely performed by Prince. The single was released in a few configurations, some of which included a non-album double a-side, The Power and some which included a double a-side of Wheel Of Fortune, taken from the album (neither of these included input by Prince).
The single did not chart in the USA, but fared much better in Monie Love’s home country of the UK, where it reached number 33 on the Gallup Singles Chart.
