Neon Telephone was the second and final single to be released from Three O’Clock’s first and only Paisley Park Records album Vermillion (their fourth and final album), and was the final single by Three O’Clock. It was released within a few months after the album, and was released in the USA only.

The b-side, To Be Where You Are, was also taken from the album. The 12" promo single also contained an extended version of Neon Telephone.

The single failed to enter the charts.
