Oliver's House was the second single to be released from Sheila E.'s first album The Glamorous Life, released a few months after the album. The single contained an edit of the track. The b-side, Noon Rendezvous, was also an edited version of a track taken from the album.
The single was released in North America only. It did not enter the charts, however.
