Love 4 One Another is a tv-special aired on 26 January 1996 by VH1. It is loosely based on the story of a young woman called Nikki (played by Corrie Dana) who travels from Texas to Minneapolis to meet her soul mate. The plot is largely the same as that of the The Ryde Dyvine television special from 1992. 'Nikki' wanders around Paisley Park, looking for Prince and does not find him. Her endeavors are interspersed with performance footage of Prince and The NPG, Nona Gaye and stand-up comedian Dave Chapelle. Love 4 One Another concludes with Nikki not finding Prince and realizing she is not his soul mate but rather a just friend. She is seen leaving a room with the word ‘slave' written on her cheek.

The performance footage of Prince and The NPG was shot in October 1995 at Paisley Park.

Love 4 One Another was produced in co-operation with VH1, and it was preceded by a 20 minute ‘video break'. In this ‘video break' Morris Hayes is shown hacking the VH1 stream when Prince gets bored by the Madonna video for her Marvin Gaye cover I Want You. After taking Madonna off the air, Prince, Morris and Tommy Barbarella take over VH-1 and play video's for The NPG's The Good Life and Count The Days, as well as Dolphin and Mayte's If Eye Love U 2night.
