Tamborine is the fifth track on Prince's seventh album Around The World In A Day, the second album to be credited to Prince and the Revolution.

Basic tracking for this track took place on 27 September 1984 at Flying Cloud Drive Warehouse in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Its first live performance by Prince took place over 17 years after the song's initial release, on 6 October 2002 (a.m.).
