It was included as the eighth track on the late April 1986 configuration of the Prince and the Revolution album Dream Factory. It was included as the seventh track on the first disc of the 3 June 1986 configuration, but was not included on the 18 July 1986 configuration. It was later sent to Three O’Clock for consideration along with Neon Telephone, Girl O’ My Dreams, We Can Funk and Can’t Stop This Feeling I Got, but the band decided to use only Neon Telephone.
