Thou Shall Not Kill is the eleventh track on the Mobb Deep compilation album The Infamous Archives of previously unreleased music. It was written and produced by Havoc, Gerard McMahon and Mike Mainieri.

After Prince's passing, Mobb Deep's Havoc said that Prince happened to be in Electric Lady Studios in New York, NY, USA at the same time that Mobb Deep were recording. When Havoc asked for his opinion on a work-in-progress beat, he just started jamming on a keyboard. Naturally, he walked out without even saying bye after he finished. Havoc kept in Prince's contribution but didn't tell anyone about it.

While specific recording dates are not known, it is assumed to have been recorded in 1998 or 1999, at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, NY, USA, during sessions for Mobb Deep's fourth studio album Murda Muzik.
