Thou Shall Not Kill is the eleventh track on the Deep Mobb Deep compilation album The Infamous Archives of previously unreleased music. It was written and produced by Havoc, Gerard McMahon and Mike Mainieri. After Prince passing Deep Mobb Deep 's Havoc said that Prince happened to be in Electric Lady Studios in New York at the same time that Deep Mobb Deep were recording. When Havoc asked for his opinion on a work-in-progress beat, he just started jamming on a keyboard. Naturally, he walked out without even saying bye after he finished. Havoc kept in Prince’s contribution but didn’t tell anyone about it.
