I Would Die 4 U is a Prince and the Revolution video released for broadcast and to promote the single.

This video is the first live recording used to promote a single. Although the single and album versions of I Would Die 4 U were also a (albeit overdubbed in studio) live performance of the song, the live footage was shot during the 20 November 1984 concert at Capital Centre, Landover, Maryland (some channels also used footage from the film). There were no audio-only release of this performance. The maxi-single contained a rehearsal take of the song.

The video was included on The Hits Collection in 1993.
