Sexuality is a Prince video released for broadcast and to promote the single. Contrary to the previous videos, this one doesn’t correspond to a single release in the USA. Sexuality was released in West Germany, Japan and Australia.

Shooting took place in October 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota on the same day as the Controversy video. Both videos were directed by Bruce Gowers.
