Visions is an unreleased instrumental by Lisa Coleman recorded on 15 April, 1986 at Prince's Galpin Blvd Home Studio, Chanhassen, MN, USA (on the same day as band overdubs on Witness 4 The Prosecution).

Although the track was written and recorded by Lisa Coleman without Prince's writing or musical input (with engineer Susan Rogers providing the title), it is listed here as it was Prince's request that Lisa Coleman create an opening piece for the Dream Factory album, and it was recorded in his home studio while he went out for a drive following his return from France that day.

Visions is listed here as a Prince and the Revolution track, since it was intended for a Prince and the Revolution album, but Lisa Coleman is the only musician on the track.

The track was included as the first track on a late April, 1986 configuration of the unreleased album Dream Factory, and kept as the first track on the 3 June, 1986 and 18 July, 1986 configurations. When Prince decided not to proceed with the album after disbanding the Revolution, and concentrated instead on Camille and Crystal Ball (both of which were also aborted), he decided not to include this song.

In 1990, Wendy & Lisa included this track (now renamed Minneapolis #1) as the first track on a limited edition bonus CD included with their third album Eroica, along with three other piano instrumentals, believed to have been recorded at the same time, titled Minneapolis #2, Eric's Ghost and C-Ya. In 2017 the track also appeared on a deluxe edition of the album. Although this track has been released, however, it is listed here as an unreleased track as its inclusion is only in relation to its intended appearance on Dream Factory.
