Walkin’ In Glory is a gospel track recorded on 7 December 1986 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California on the same day as Bob George. Engineer Susan Rogers said he may have recorded Walkin’ In Glory that day "to compensate" for Bob George. It is unknown if, but unlikely that the song at the time was intended for his next album, Sign O’ The Times, or any other project.
After the session yield the track. Prince did a jam session with him on bass and Sheila E. on drums that would be developed into 2 Nigs United 4 West Compton, two days later, but part of the jam was also mixed into the second half of 'Walkin’ In Glory.
In September 2020 the song was released on one of the discs with previously unreleased tracks included with the Sign O’ The Times Super Deluxe set.
