Wedding Feast is the tenth track on Prince's 24th album The Rainbow Children, his first album after reverting to the name Prince.
Specific recording dates are unknown, but it is likely that initial tracking took place in late 2000 or early 2001 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA. The track acts mainly as an interlude; the lyrics continue the album's story of preparing for a wedding between "The Wise One" and "The Muse". The track is short and created as a humorous opera pastiche, with some vocals by Kip Blackshire. Prince laughs at the end of the track, indicating it was not intended as a serious piece.
