Welcome 2 America is an unreleased song first performed live on 18 December 2010 during the first Madison Square Garden date of the Welcome 2 America Tour. The song was sung by Prince, who in fact sang from offstage during the performance.
A tape photographed in Prince’s vault at Paisley Park Studios has the song listed, dated 15 March 2010, which alludes this is the exact date for the recording of a studio version of Welcome 2 America (the same day as Dance 2 The Higher, Yes and Yes (LP)).
This track was slated for the unreleased Welcome 2 America album. More information will be added to this entry as and when it becomes available.
