Trivia

  • Tickets for this show (a late addition to the tour) went on sale on Saturday 26 June 2010 at 10:00.
  • This venue is a unique structure where the stage is placed in the Nikaïa Palace (which can also serve as a 9,000 capacity indoor venue by itself), and the audience is on the adjacent lawn with a capacity of 15,000. The venue is on the plot of Parc des Sports Charles-Ehrmann, formerly also the location of Stade L'Ouest, where Prince performed in 1990.
  • Prince and the NPG were booked in Hôtel Negresco in Nice. But shortly after arriving Prince relocated to Hôtel Martinez in Cannes.
  • There were some problems with the stage lighting, causing the show to start more than an hour later than the announced start time,
  • On the pre-printed set-list A Love Bizarre was missing and Controversy was to be played following Guitar. Omitted from the set was U Got The Look which was to be played before Mountains. The songs after Forever In My Life were TBA on the original setlist.
