Trivia

  • After being hinted on a German ticket outlet, together with a 4 August show in Berlin that did not materialize, the show in Cologne was finally announced on 9 June, with tickets going on sale on 10 June at 10:00
  • Due to the late soundcheck doors to the venue weren't opened until after 19:30.
  • This show was marred by technical problems. After the first song. Prince and the band left the stage. After a while houselights were turned on and the PA music started back up. There appeared to be a technical problem with the sound; reportedly there was a substantial delay in the stage monitors. The show wasn't started back up until 30 minutes later. Prince did apologize for the delay after returning to the stage. The sound remained very bad throughout the shortened set. To meet the venues curfew the set was also cut short and Prince played only 80 more minutes (including two encore breaks), following the long interval. After the show reportedly over 200 people went to try and claim a refund at the box office (to no avail).
