3rdEye TV was a web TV channel launched by Prince on 12 June 2013 via LiveStream.com. The channel started with short broadcasts for the first four days of its existence in a row, from 19 June 2013 to 23 June 2013. Two new broadcasts were then aired on 26 June 2013 and 27 June 2013. All these were from Paisley Park Studios. On 30 June 2013, part of a show was broadcast live from Chicago. After that the broadcasts continued with an ever changing interval.

Broadcasts were usually not advertised until about one hour before show time. An announcement would often be made on the channel's blog, reading for example "Tune in shortly for a surprise". Some broadcasts were not advertised at all, though, and went on air without notice. It was possible to subscribe to get notifications via e-mail or text when the TV broadcast went live. Duration of the broadcasts varied from 3 to 90 minutes.

It was never made clear if the TV channel would broadcast on a regular basis or was just a temporary project; the streams mostly consisted of rehearsal or live footage. The channel broadcast on a regular basis from June to mid-august 2013, after which a show was broadcast in early October. Past this date, the channel ceased business, although remaining online.

On 26 July 2014, the channel came back live after 8 months being off, with a 40 minutes stream of Kandace Springs concert at Paisley Park.
