Burnin' is the eleventh solo studio album by Patti LaBelle, and was released worldwide in October, 1991 (on the same day as Prince and the New Power Generation's album Diamonds And Pearls).

Following on from Prince's contributions to Patti LaBelle's 1989 album Be Yourself, Burnin' contained one song with writing input by Prince, I Hear Your Voice, co-written by Rosie Gaines (for whom the song was originally intended) and Francis Jules.

The album produced four singles, Feels Like Another One, Somebody Loves You Baby (You Know Who It Is), When You've Been Blessed (Feels Like Heaven) and When You Love Somebody (I'm Saving My Love for You). The album reached number 71 on the US Billboard Pop Chart, and number 9 on the Billboard R&B Chart.

On 26 February, 1992, Patti LaBelle won a Grammy for Best Female R&B Performance for her work on the album (sharing the award, unusually, with Lisa Fischer for the single How Can I Ease The Pain).

I Hear Your Voice was recorded by Prince in late April, 1991, with vocal overdubs by Patti LaBelle added at some point later.
