No Sound But A Heart is the eighth full-length studio album by Sheena Easton.
The album contained the track Eternity, written by Prince.
Unusually, the US release of the album was canceled soon before release, but the album was released throughout the rest of the world.
Sessions and compiling
Eternity was recorded in December 1985, with Sheena Easton recording lead vocal overdubs in 1986 or early 1987. The track was written, produced and largely performed by Prince, although only his writing contribution was credited to him. He was credited as 'Rocker Happyfeller' for keyboards and 'Freddie "The Phantom"' for guitar, while the production was credited to David Leonard.
Promotion
The album produced only one single, Eternity; it did not chart in the UK.
The album was reissued in 1999 with four additional tracks recorded during the same sessions including the non-album track (released as the b-side of the Eternity single) Shockwave, which features writing contribution by Jesse Johnson.
