Risky Business is the soundtrack album to the 1983 Warner Bros. movie Risky Business starring Tom Cruise containing an edited version of D.M.S.R. by Prince. The compilation contains previously released songs by various artists and five tracks recorded specifically for the soundtrack by German band Tangerine Dream.

The version (a simple fade) of D.M.S.R. included on this soundtrack was unique to this release and was not available elsewhere until its inclusion on the second disc (Promo mixes and B-Sides Remastered) of 1999 Deluxe in 2019.

Bob Seger's Old Time Rock And Roll, originally released in 1979, was featured in what became an iconic scene in the movie. The song was re-released as a single in 1983, reaching number 48 on the Billboard chart. The soundtrack was released the following year.
