Rock Steady is the fifth full-length studio album by rock/pop and ska group No Doubt, and was released in December 2001.
Sessions and compiling
The album contained Waiting Room, a track featuring as co-producer and musician (although the song was released after he returned to the name Prince, the track was worked on in 1999, when he was still using the name ). He also shares writing credit with Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal and Tom Dumont, three members of the group.
Promotion
The album produced four singles, Hey Baby, Hella Good, Underneath It All and Running, and was a huge commercial success. It reached number 9 on the US Billboard Hot 200, and was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 45th Grammy Awards (where it lost to Come Away With Me by Norah Jones).
