This entry details an untitled album by Sheila E., recorded between early 1987 and late 1988, and planned for release in 1989. The album, however, was abandoned when Sheila E. left Paisley Park Records in early 1989 and most of the album’s tracks remain unreleased.

3 Nigs Watchin’ A Kung Fu Movie was recorded in January or February 1987. Knucklehead was recorded in late October 1987, after the opening of Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA, with Latino Barbie Doll recorded in mid-December 1987. Scarlet Pussy was recorded in January 1988. The Ghetto (a cover version of the Donny Hathway song, written by Donny Hathway and Leroy Hutson, released initially as a single and later included on Everything Is Everything, 1970) was also recorded in either late 1987 or early 1988, although details are not known. Soul Company and Girl Power were recorded in mid-November 1988. The other tracks on the album are not believed to have contained any input by Prince.

The only track from the album to have been released is Scarlet Pussy, which was included as the b-side of I Wish U Heaven (credited to Camille). Two other tracks were resurrected for later projects, however. In mid-September 1993, Latino Barbie Doll was tried out for Mayte during initial sessions for her solo album, and was included on an initial configuration of the album, titled Latino Barbie Doll, before being removed from later configurations as the album developed into Child Of The Sun. During Prince: A Celebration in June 2000, computer screens at Paisley Park Studios offered names of a selection of tracks which users could vote on for inclusion on Crystal Ball Volume II; 3 Nigs Watchin’ A Kung Fu Movie was included on the list and was chosen by fans, the project was ultimately abandoned.
