They Don’t Make Them Like They Used To is the nineteenth studio album by American country music singer-songwriter Kenny Rogers.

The album contained You’re My Love, written Prince under the pseudonym Joey Coco, the first time this pseudonym had been used.

Sessions and compiling

As a country musician, Kenny Rogers was an unusual choice for Prince to contribute to, but the contribution was initiated by Rogers' management, who asked Prince for a track; he obliged by contributing this track originally recorded in 1982 and later considered for The Family. Prince had no direct involvement in the released version.

Promotion

Two singles were released from the album: They Don’t make Them Like They Used To and Twenty Years Ago.

The album reached number 16 on the US Billboard Country charts, but only number 137 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums Chart.
