Can't Stop This Feeling I Got is the first track on Prince's twelfth album Graffiti Bridge, and, in late 1990, Can't Stop This Feeling I Got was released as the album's third Prince single (in the Philippines only) and sixth single overall (a single by Tevin Campbell, one by Mavis Staples, and another by The Time were also released). The track is also featured in the movie Graffiti Bridge.

Basic tracking took place in Spring 1982 at Prince's Kiowa Trail Home Studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, along with several other tracks that would re-appear over the next several years. The track was re-recorded on 17 June 1986 at the Washington Avenue Warehouse in Eden Prairie, Minnesota (in sequence after Data Bank and before We Can Funk, the day before recording Girl O' My Dreams). It was re-recorded in 1989 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota, and was included as the first track on a late 1989 configuration of Graffiti Bridge, where it remained for a 1990 configuration and the final release.

The original 1982 verison was released in 2019 as the seventh track on the Vault Tracks part 2 disc of a Deluxe edition of the 1999 album.
