Disco Away is an unreleased track recorded between 10-21 July 1979 at Mountain Ears Sound Studio in Boulder, Colorado, during sessions for The Rebels album (the same set of sessions that produced Too Long, Thrill You Or Kill You, You, If I Love You Tonight, The Loser, Hard To Get, an untitled instrumental by Dez Dickerson and an untitled instrumental by André Cymone). The song was written by Dez Dickerson. The song ridicules disco, and Dickerson refers to then-current disco bands, singing "Keep your Village People and your Bee Gees too".
