Flash Light is a song by Parliament, which first appeared on the 1977 album Funkentelechy Vs. The Placebo Syndrome, and was written by George Clinton, Bernie Worrell, Bootsy Collins. Prince has performed the song often in one-off shows, either in full or as a clip during another song. In 2011, a live version of the song was streamed as a YouTube video (audio only, with a static image) on bandmember Andy Allo's Facebook page within hours of its performance, containing significant (uncredited) portions of What's My Name. No studio version by Prince is believed to exist.
